Game Report: Norfolk Admirals - Last Regular Season Game - Goodbye Dennis
April 13, 2008WBS lost 3-2 in OT tonight, but said goodbye to a legend, as Dennis Bonvie played his last regular season game here at the Wachovia arena. He had one “fight” vs. Jay Rosehill, which I will upload a video of, but not a vote. It was more of an show than a fight - and at the end they raised each others hands in victory, a nice moment. The team honored him afterwards, and showered him with gifts, including my personal favorite, the bench from the home team penalty box. It was a great night - despite the OT loss, the Penguins clinched the division, and gained home ice advantage.
