Game 7 tonight!
May 24, 2008
ESPN.com talking about hockey fights
May 21, 2008Of course they are focusing on a guy who goes to a game, and leaves disappointed if he doesn’t see a fight. I want to see a good game, and if there is a fight in it - so be it.
John Mirasty of the Crunch is featured.

Pirates get the best of the Pens in game 2
May 16, 2008The pens dropped game two to Portland tonight to tie up the series at one game apiece. As you can see below big number 5 had a tilt with Simon Fergoson which Engelland handled quite easily.
Here is a second view for you all
GO PENS!!!

Great job tonight boys!!!
Keep up the good work against Portland!!!

Pens win - go up 3-1
May 8, 2008
Another great games by the Pens as they outscored the Phantoms 8-4. Philadelphia did however win the MMA crown of the AHL and found themselves in the penalty box numerous times. So many times in fact, that the arena is looking into putting an automatic door on the sin bin, much like your local supermarket. Due to overcrowding, you now also need a reservation for the Phantoms penalty box. So Tristan, if you are out there, make sure you call ahead for special stupid penalty seating , and request a good seat near the ice for the first, second, and third period…
Lets end this on Friday @ home!!!

Playoff Game Report: Philadelphia Phantoms
May 6, 2008We had a fight tonight!
Bissonnette vs. Grant
After listening to the radio broadcast of this game, I thought that Grant was the winner of this fight. I would have to call this a draw after seeing the video below. Both guys start out strong, but don’t really land anything other than a few facewashes. I suppose you could credit Triston with the takedown, but it was a bit too gentle in my opinion to award the win based upon that.
WBSFIGHTS CALL: Draw
What do you think?

Lets Go Pens! Amazing comeback!
May 4, 2008Wow what a comeback! Down 4-1 entering the third period, the guys really stepped up their play, and tied it up with 45 seconds left. I think that Luca Caputi’s goal, where he out hustled, and out muscled the Phantoms defensemen was really the turning point. Philly was treating the third period like a 20 minute long power play, just dumping the puck out of the zone, until the magic started to happen!
Great job boys!!
On a side note, how pumped was Minard when he came out for his #1 star? That was great to see!

East Division Finals vs. Phantoms
May 1, 2008Everything starts tonight. These teams have a history of lots of rough-stuff between the two of them, so I anticipate something happening tonight, despite it being playoff time. Both teams have their NHL affiliates still alive and well in the Stanley Cup Playoffs, but both are far from playing with a skeleton crew. Keep an eye out for Dustin Jeffrey making his AHL debut tonight filling in for suspended WBS captain Nathan Smith.
