10-8-08: Opening Night - 8-4 Loss to Hershey
October 9, 2008Nice quick little ceremony pre-game today before a drubbing on the ice. Dennis Bonvie paid us a visit to a large amount of applause, and we raised the Eastern Conference Championship Banner.
Game was pretty much over in the first. Dug ourselves too deep a hole with powerplays to make it up against a talented team like Hershey.
One fight in this one.
Richmond vs. Pinizzotto
Not sure if this would classically be considered a draw since there wasn’t much action, or a win to Pinizzotto for pulling Richmond down, then trying to throw a punch after the fight was over. I’ll leave this one up to you. Enjoy.
Bears fan here… gotta give Richmond a win in this fight. He landed a couple nice punches right off the bat. I don’t think Pinizzotto landed anything despite getting the takedown.
